If your game crashes or freezes on a Windows device, follow the troubleshooting steps recommended by Windows (link in the text). Reinstalling the app can help—but make sure your progress is saved to a King or Facebook account first. Keep in mind that Boosters and Lives may be lost during reinstall. We do everything we can to ensure your enjoyment of our games, but once in a while, issues pop up. If your game keeps freezing or crashing, there are some things you can do that may solve the problem immediately.
Troubleshooting for Windows devices
- Sign in to your Microsoft account.
- Make sure Windows has the latest update: select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates. If there is an available update, select Install now.

Update the game:
- Open the Microsoft Store, at the top-right corner of the Library page, click on the Get Updates button, then Install all of them
- Click Update on the game only, from the games list.
- To enable automatic updates: Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the Microsoft Store, select Settings, and turn on the App Updates option.
- Run the troubleshooter: Select the Start button, and then select Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot, and then from the list select Windows Store apps > Run the troubleshooter.

Reinstall the app
As a last resort, try deleting and then reinstalling the game. Just make sure your game is safely backed up to your King or Facebook account before taking this step. To re-install your game:

Select Start and look for the app or program in the list shown.
2. Press and hold (or right-click) on the app, then select Uninstall.
3. In Microsoft Store, select See more > My Library. Select the app, and then select Install
