If your game keeps freezing or closing by itself, don’t worry! Try the steps below to help it run smoothly again.
Before you start
Make sure your game is backed up to your King or Facebook account.
Please note: Boosters and extra Lives stored only on your device may be lost during some of these steps—especially if you delete and reinstall the game—so you may want to use them first.
1. Restart your device
Turn your device off and back on again. This can quickly fix many issues.
2. Close apps running in the background
Other open apps can affect performance. Close any apps you’re not using, then reopen your game.
3. Update your game
- Open the App Store
- Tap your profile icon at the top
- Scroll to see available updates
- If your game appears, tap Update
4. Update your device
Make sure your iPhone or iPad is running the latest version of iOS:
Go to Settings > General > Software Update
5. Free up space on your device
- Your device should have at least 2 GB of free space
- You can free up space by removing unused apps, photos, or videos
6. Check your internet connection
- A stable connection is important for the game to work properly
- Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data
- Restart your Wi-Fi router if needed
- You can also run a quick speed test:
- Open Safari
- Go to Google.com
- Search for Internet Speed Test
- Tap Run Speed Test
7. Turn off VPN (if you use one)
If you use a VPN, try turning it off:
- Go to Settings
- Tap General
- Select VPN & Device Management
- Select the profile and tap Remove Profile
8. Delete and reinstall the game (last step)
If nothing else works, try reinstalling the game.
⚠️ Important: Make sure your game is backed up to your King or Facebook account before deleting it.
- Touch and hold the game icon
- Tap Remove App
- Go to the App Store and reinstall it
